Hello, believers in Christ,
My name is Larry W. Holt, and on June 10th 2006, I was elected to serve as President of the Servants Of The King by the members of the SOK board. My experience prior to being elected has been the result of close contact and training by the SOK founder. We have traveled together on several missionary efforts for the past 6 years in India, Nepal, & Uganda. Our mutual purpose is to glorify God by following the Holy Spirit’s direction in building churches in villages, and then preaching, teaching, and evangelizing in those churches.
As of this date SOK has built over 1251 churches, 26 orphanages, 3 hospitals, 4 medical clinics and several schools in India, Nepal, Uganda, and Kenya. In Uganda, churches are being built at an average rate of one every 5 days. We also have made contacts and visited sites for more churches in Tanzania, Sudan, and Rwanda.
On July 13th 2006, a team of 17 missionaries traveled to Uganda, Africa, to teach and preach the gospel in the public schools and in the SOK churches. The last email I received stated that over 3255 people have received the gift of salvation in less than 12 days.
For the past 20 years, the founder and SOK missionary teams have been traveling over- seas as often as twice a year. Because of their obedience to God by keeping His commission to go, we estimate that they have lead over 100,000 to accept Christ as their Lord and savior. John 18:23, ”I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.”
This letter is to thank everyone for their prayers, service, and contributions allowing SOK to continue as God leads, to build churches though out the world.
